Robert W. Decker
The certified public accounting firm of Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chartered is pleased to announce the addition of Robert W. Decker, CPA to their team of professionals. Decker will serve in the firm’s Wichita & Derby offices.
“Bob has been helping area businesses with their tax and audit needs for over forty years,” said Ben Wilson, CPA, partner-in-charge of the firm’s Wichita office. “His knowledge of the community and vast experience in accounting is a great asset to our staff and clients.”
Prior to joining Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Decker served as a partner at Hiebert & Decker CPA’s, Chtd. The firm merged with Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball in November 2016. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Wichita State University where he graduated with honors. Decker also attended Coffeyville Community Junior College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA), the City of Wichita Police & Fire Retirement System Board, and the City of Wichita Retirement System Joint Investment Committee. Decker is also an Eagle Scout.
Decker currently lives in Wichita with his wife, Betty. They have two children and three grandchildren. Outside of the office, Decker enjoys camping, hiking, reading, playing disc golf and billiard pool.
