Every other year, the Great Bend High School Acapella Choir makes a trip to Washington D.C. to sing at different venues and take in the sites of our nation’s capital.
In order to help the students pay for the trip, multiple fundraisers are scheduled throughout the school year. The Acapella Choir will hold their chili feed Friday, September 23 from 5-7 p.m. as part of the Homecoming festivities prior to the football game.
Choral Director Susan Stanbaugh says the yearly event receives a lot of community support.

Tickets can still be purchased in advance by calling the high school or you can pay $7 at the door. Anyone that purchases a ticket can dine-in at the Commons Area of the high school or get their meal to go.
The meal includes a bowl of chili, cinnamon roll, carrots, crackers, and a drink.
