Dr. Roger Marshall
(Great Bend, Kan.) – Senator Bob Dole announced his endorsement of Dr. Roger Marshall in the First Congressional District general election.
His statement:
“I am proud to endorse my good friend and fellow Kansas Republican, Dr. Roger Marshall.
Dr. Marshall is a conservative willing to pursue real solutions. A leader knows when to work with his own party, and across the aisle. In a long career in military, medical, business and community service, Roger has proven himself to be a capable leader and coalition-builder.
It is important for Kansans to know they have the calm, steady hand of a conservative leader at the helm. I ask you to join me in voting for Republican Dr. Roger Marshall on November 8.”
“As a young man growing up in rural Kansas, Bob Dole was a revered household name,” Dr. Roger Marshall said. “Of all the advice Senator Dole has ever given me, I will always remember when he told me to always remember where I am from. His career has personified that, and I am honored to have his friendship and support.”
Senator Bob Dole represented Kansas First Congressional District from 1963-1969, during his 35-year career representing Kansans in Washington.
