The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled “Sharing Holiday Traditions” on Thursday, December 7, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Barton County Academy (1010 Taft St.). Join us to learn about some of the holiday traditions from different cultures and even some local traditions during this program. Students from the Barton County Academy will be sharing some of their traditions. A few of the students will be cooking up some of their traditional foods for you to sample. At the end of the program, we would love to hear about any holiday traditions you and your family may have. Donna Krug, Cottonwood Extension FCS Agent, and students from the Barton County Academy will be the presenters for this program.
