Although it is one of the bigger events for the City of Great Bend, directing the June Jaunt festival does get easier after six years of putting on the event. The 6th Annual June Jaunt wrapped up this weekend in Great Bend with outdoor fun for the entire family.
Community Coordinator Christina Hayes says despite a few cancellations at Veterans Memorial Park on Sunday, the weekend was another success for the community.

June Jaunt was created for multiple towns along Kansas Highway 96 to organize entertainment, games, and events for local residents.
Hayes was able to get several towns to commit to a five-year deal to participate in the festival. June Jaunt’s sixth year saw some of the cities drop out, but the towns that experienced success still hosted their own events.
