When Danielle Feist took over as curator earlier this year at The Kansas Oil & Gas Museum and Hall of Fame in Great Bend, she immediately wanted to redirect the museum’s focus. For years the museum on west 10th Street focused on collection and preservation.
Feist admits the collection is important, but wants to begin telling the story of the items and educating the public of the past and present.

Feist’s request for help is in the form of donations of either money or items. Like many non-profit organizations, the museum’s budget is tight and is even tighter because of their free admission to view the history.
Feist has her Christmas list ready for anyone able to help.
