United States Senator Jerry Moran visited Great Bend Thursday morning as he attended the Chamber of Commerce Coffee Hour at Tele-Communications, Inc.
As the November 8 General Election draws nearer, Moran gets to step aside from Washington D.C. and talk to Kansans more. Moran says the Chamber Coffee gives him an opportunity to have a ‘good’ conversation with many voters.

Moran was in Great Bend in late August as well, where he toured Great Bend Regional Hospital and learned more about rural healthcare and treatment of our veterans. Moran felt the Department of Veterans Affairs has continued to struggle to provide care to veterans, particularly our younger veterans.
