On Saturday, October 15, 2016 the Barton County Sheriff’s office executed search warrants in the City of Great Bend in an effort to recover stolen property. The Sheriff’s Office had received information from the public as to the whereabouts of property that had been stolen in a series of burglaries the week of October 10.
At about 1:40 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant in the 5900 block of Eisenhower Court in the City of Great Bend. A substantial amount of stolen property was recovered including tools and equipment from recent burglaries.
Later that afternoon Sheriff’s officers also executed a search warrant in the 1700 block of Harrison Street. Three subjects were arrested in connection with the burglaries. Keaton Krom, age 24 of Great Bend was arrested for three counts of burglary, three counts of theft, and one count of possession of stolen property. Julia Ellis age 24 of Great Bend was arrested for one count of possession of stolen property. Rachael Quesenbury-Graves age 37 of Great Bend was also arrested and booked on one count of possession of stolen property.
The investigation is ongoing and further arrests are expected.
