Richard Boeckman
Barton County Counselor and Administrator Richard Boeckman said he will be turning 68 years old next year and has reached a time in his life that he would like to start slowing down.
He followed that statement up by telling Barton County Commissioners that he plans to resign in March of 2017. Boeckman discussed the matter with commissioners at last week’s study session, but publicly announced his decision Monday morning at the meeting.
Boeckman has served as the Barton County Administrator for 12 years.
